It was a special day when my class receiver the Mapenzi and Ravi dolls! My students were so excited to read the story of each doll. It sparked great conversation making observations and connections to their own lives. They have brought so much joy to our classroom! These dolls are a must have for any primary classroom.

My kindergarten students LOVE Ravi and Mapenzi! During explore time they love playing with these dolls in the vet center and the kitchen area. I love the stories behind each of the dolls and so do my students. I can hear them talking about their stories within their play. These dolls are truly special !

I was happy to offer Xander and Mapenzi as a gift to my very first granddaughter, my daughter’s baby girl. My daughter and I talked about when she and her brother were growing up and how perfect the For Purpose Kids dolls are for girls AND boys. I wish I had an option like this 30 years ago to offer to my son.

These dolls are sweet, endearing and lovely quality. Anything that makes what could seem foreign relatable, approachable, and explorable can help a child imagine what it would be like to walk a mile in someone else's shoes.
